We are always asked by schools for a building which looks a bit different and which will inspire children to learn in. So we have come up with a new design which has a distinctive Gothic & rustic feel about it.
We therefore use a wany-edged larch external cladding to give the building more of a rustic or “cabin” feel and we can also use cedar shingle tiles on the roof to add to or compliment the styling. These buildings have been used both in forest school settings and on school playgrounds.
We have even supplied a couple of buildings with Gothic style arched windows.
They are available in square, rectangular and octagonal shapes with a whole suite of options.
As these buildings are designed to be modular, no one building is ever the same and so it is therefore quite difficult to “package” a price list. So we do very much encourage you to get in touch with us to discuss your individual requirements and where we can offer you our best advice based on 20 years of experience.

“Having read an unsolicited email from the Hideout House Company, my interest was piqued and I contacted Simon Fearnehough. As a result we now have a fantastic outdoor shelter/classroom which sits beautifully in the school surroundings. The whole process was completely painless and took six months from initial contact to project completion. That doesn't happen often in schools.'
