Our octagonal outdoor classroom gazebos are both functional and educational buildings all rolled into one. Outdoor classroom gazebos offer both shade and shelter at playtime but they can also be used as an outdoor teaching and learning area. Or used within a forest school setting. Our buildings are manufactured out of high quality materials and timbers as we know that schools are looking for products which will last, will require minimum maintenance and will stand up to the daily rigours of the school playground. That is why we offer extended warranties on our cedar versions for up to 15 years against timber rot, decay and degradation. We also offer outdoor classrooms in other shapes and sizes – namely square and rectangular – which are also featured on this website.
The high quality of materials we use means a lower on-going maintenance cost to you spread over the life expectancy of the building which can save you hundreds if not thousands of pounds. A tip on how to gauge quality – the roof is where the main problems occur as cheap materials or “one-skin” timber roofs can result in a leaking roof which will eventually rot and have to be replaced. That is why we use cedar or felt shingle tiles, a waterproof membrane and then the underside of the roof is clad in either in cedar or a treated loglap pine, so it will not rot. That is why we never use ply or timber weatherboards as they have shorter life spans.

- Manufactured either out of cedar wood which requires very little on-going maintenance/treatment and typically lasts a lot longer than traditional timbers or Grade 4 tanalised Scandinavian redwood pine

- Five choices of roof – high quality marine PU coated canvas, felt shingle tile, cedar shingle tile, close board roofing or a living sedum roof
- Waterproof roof which includes for a breathable membrane and loglap pine (tanalised to Grade 4) under drawn ceiling
- Building options such as solid infill wall panels; roll-down canvas panels to windows and door entrance; perspex or laminated glass upper panels; trellis upper panels
- Vertical balustrading lower level panels option (as opposed to the standard solid bevel siding)
- “Floorless” versions also available without decking floor and timber sub-frame base
- Full eco option pack to include water butt and roof guttering with downpipe, eco pond and surround, wind turbine, solar panel and monitoring board (features wind and solar charge currents, datalogger, bulk head light and two outdoor power sockets), weather vane, bird box, insect nest and 3 x planters
