Our outdoor classroom pods have proved to be very popular indeed but we have regularly been asked if we can offer something a bit bigger which can be used as a classroom building but still using the same unique “pod” style. So we have answered this request with our classroom pods which, like their smaller cousins, are all pre-manufactured units which are delivered to site off the back of a low loader transport truck and are then craned into position. On site time is therefore minimal compared to a traditional build and we can even help with foundation systems.

We also have the ability to be able to put themed fascias onto these pods to make them even more unique for a school playground and appealing to children’s imaginations. Current themes include space; cowboys; jungle and castle.

But having a bigger footprint (as they are built on a steel chassis), these classroom pods can have separate internal rooms, inclusive WCs, kitchenette facilities and can be fully wired up for all electrics (lighting, heating, power sockets) and plumbing too. These units feature high quality metro tile roof systems and are either externally clad in thermowood, canexel (a kind of plastic wood) or cedar and larch for longevity and low maintenance.
