When you start to plan your Forest School site, you will need to have a circle area for seating made from woodland benches to surround your fire pits. These benches should be sited at least 1.5m from the fire pit area.
We can supply both these woodland style benches and the fire pit/cooking facility.
Under the guise of a forest school practitioner, fire pits are also fun and allow children to learn about risk assessment, risk taking and fire safety rules. And cooking skills too form an essential part of a forest school outdoor learning programme.
If so required, we can also build these fire pit and cooking features into a separate area with loose fill and edging.
